What is Hypnosis?

As a clinical hypnotherapist, at times I feel like Professor X from this scene.
I get to witness people unlocking parts of themselves and their memories to achieve their goals and dreams. There is beauty in witnessing people harness their true potential. I feel humbled and honored.
In essence, all the credit goes to our Higher Selves who guide us to heal, integrate, and embody who we truly are.
Hypnosis can only be done with your permission. You have free-will and you choose if you want to be guided into a trance state. Hypnosis is a natural state. Overall, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. I love to use the metaphor of driving a car. In a session, you are the driver and I am the passenger. I have a road map. If I say we are going left, but your subconscious wants to go right. We are going right. In other words, you are in control at all times and you remember what happens in the session.
With spiritual hypnotherapy, you can achieve "true focus” & "possess a power no one can match." While in hypnosis, you become more resourceful, creative, and intuitive.
You can access “the brightest corner” and darkest corner of your memory system. In fact, you can recover and remember any memory. In a trance state, you have expanded awareness and gain access to more levels of consciousness.
With hypnotherapy, you learn more about yourself than you knew you were capable of. You are open to positive suggestions which bring about the desired change.
When you tap into your power, you do have superpowers.
